Integrating Zippy Courses with AWeber
Integrating your email service with Zippy Courses will allow you to automatically add students to your email lists when they join your course. That way, you can not only send your students emails about your course content, but you can include them on your email marketing for future courses or other ventures.
To integrate AWeber with Zippy Courses, first go to the Email Marketing Settings within Zippy Courses, and scroll down to the AWeber option.
You will need to get an Authorization code from AWeber in order to connect your account. Click the link labeled Click Here to be sent to AWeber. You will then be prompted to login to your AWeber account:
Once you click Allow Access, you will be given an access code to enter in Zippy Courses. Copy this Access Code to your clipboard, and return to your Zippy Courses site.
Paste this code into the AWeber Authorization field, and click Authorize to save your code.
Congratulations! Your site is now authorized to connect to your AWeber account.
Connecting an Email List to Your Course
To connect an email list with a course, go to Courses, locate and click on the course you wish to connect, then click on the Integrations tab.
You will then see your AWeber integration, currently set to Inactive. Click the toggle next to your integration, then select the list that you would like to connect to your course:
Additionally, you can check the box labeled Control this integration by Tier in order to select a list for each tier of your course.
Once you have configured this integration, click the Save button to save your changes. Then, any time a new student is added to your course, they will also be added to your corresponding mailing list in AWeber. If a student ever leaves the course (such as by refunding their purchase or by cancelling their subscription), they will also be unsubscribed from this list.
